Position Description:
This position is responsible for oversight of internal (regulatory) and external (customer) compliance for TALX. Responsibilities for regulatory compliance include internal compliance with federal and state laws, regulations and consent orders. Customer compliance includes ensuring customers comply with TALX contracts, policies and applicable federal and state laws
Position Requirements:
- Review and interpret proposed legislation and enacted laws to determine impact to TALX. Develop compliance measures including new or revised procedures and customer and/or consumer facing documents. Organize and lead cross functional compliance measure implementation teams.
- Conduct investigations related to customer and CRA reseller activities to determine the possibility or extent of contract, policy and/or law violations. Determine and follow through with the appropriate course of action.
- Through the development and enforcement of policies, ensure TALX data is not misused. Using a sound risk management approach, approve requested exceptions to policy.
- Direct the auditing of customers, and handle escalated issues related to suspension and termination of customer access.
- Oversee credentialing of TALX prospective customers.
- Conduct investigations and/or complete thorough research relating to security, compliance or legal matters.
Position Attributes:
3-5 years experience in regulatory compliance.
Exceptional analytical and decision making skills.
Excellent verbal and written communications.
Knowledge of FCRA preferred.
Ability to handle fast-paced and challenging job demands.
Must be able to handle multiple projects.
