The Company is a major clinical laboratory that is expanding into new geographical markets and has been recognized by national publications as one of the fastest growing laboratories in the US.  They are a full service reference laboratory with specialty capabilities in the areas of hematology, genomics, oncology, and pathology.  Their rapid growth has created the demand for a Regional Sales Director to manage sales reps that specialize in oncology, pathology, and infectious diseases.   Many of these direct reports will be from expansion territories, so sales development leadership into virgin territories will be crucial.  This position reports to the Vice President of Sales.


 


QUALIFICATIONS:


 


Qualified candidates for this position MUST have:



  • an aggressive, positive attitude,
  • an outstanding track record managing a successful sales team,
  • experience in reference laboratory sales
  • a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business or life sciences (biology, chemistry, biochemistry, etc.,)
  • leadership skills necessary to motivate a group of dynamic individuals.  

 


The winning candidate should live in the Midwest and have no obstacles to heavy travel.
